Turners Beach
Great surfing at northern and southern end of beach, little rock pools, toilet & shower facilities, plenty of parking, easy access to the beach, protected from southerly winds, patrolled in the summer months (see Yamba Surf Life Saving Club).
Whiting Beach
Whiting beach is great for kids and families with gentle waves and easy access to parking and public toilets.
Main Beach
With the archetypal east coast ‘ocean pool’ built into the rocks at its southern end, one of NSW’s oldest Surf Lifesaving clubs centre-stage, and the iconic Pacific Hotel overlooking it all, Yamba’s Main Beach is so quaint, lovely and Australian you can’t help but grin when you’re there.
The beach is patrolled on weekends and during school holidays between September and Easter, and has well-considered disabled access.
Convent Beach
A beautiful little beach with small waves and rock pools. If you like quiet, hidden beaches then Convent Beach is for you. Access is from the backing road with street parking and a track from the southern end of the beach.
Pippi Beach
Pippi is ideal for long walks and beach sports, and the southern end is great for dogs. Toilet & shower facilities are available, and the beach is patrolled in the summer months (see Yamba Surf Life saving Club).
